In Mogpog, venue for the first Talentadong Pinoy auditions in Marinduque, no less than 5,000 came to watch, proof that the talent search is indeed the No. 1 most popular Saturday show on national television today.

Auditioners wait nervously for the program to start. All ages represented, including a 61-year old grandma who danced the pandanggo sa ilaw - and dropped the glass from her head at the first turn.
Mogpog's "Omar" now Talentadong Pinoy "Hall of Famer" after emerging winner for five consecutive weeks shows his townmates the ladder-balancing act that made him famous. 
His kabayans gave Omar non-stop applause and cheers. All the schools in poblacion Mogpog excused their pupils and students to be able to watch the auditions.

Close-up of Omar. He surprised the team by turning up at the auditions. Omar was already in Marinduque as early as All Saints Day for his needed break and was game to also grace the auditions in Torrijos.

All the auditioners were interviewed on cam for their background stories. Selected stories will be featured in "Talentadong Pinoy's" sister show, "Mga Kuwentong Talentado", shown Mondays on TV5 from 8-9pm.
