ReplyDeleteCongress was abolished in 1972 with the declaration of Martial Law.Then the Interim Batasang Pambansa (legislature) was inaugurated in 1978 up to 1984 as transitional legislative body as the Philippines shifted from a presidential to a parliamentary form of government...
