Before the Nepal quake, I happened to have watched dutchsinse's video of April 24, 2015 where he gave a 'full earthquake update and forecast. There, he did say there was a need to watch for a big one somewhere in the Russia and China border, "that is going to show an additional large movement in the next several days", somewhere in the mountain ranges northwest of the two deep asthenosphere earthquakes in the 5.0M range that occurred a day or so in the west Pacific region, he said.
Then the April 25 Nepal 7.8M earthquake struck in the Himalayan-China-Indian border with a death toll now surpassing 6,600.
His latest video dated today, May 1, 2015 is titled 'Major Global Unrest'. This includes an earthquake forecast for the next 7 days. He nails down areas to watch, namely 'somewhere in Turkey and going over small regions in north Italy', with dormant volcanoes erupting, and larger movements in the US he figured that these could translate to "larger earthquakes in southern California".
He is expecting a repeat of the 2011-type scenario as what happened then "are also happening now" but now with "larger earthquakes, larger clusters and more volcanic eruptions that far outnumber the earthquakes occurring at the same time in 2011".
Philippines need to be on watch
Based on large earthquake movements Papua New Guinea and to the north-northwest (Japan that also saw seafloor rising, and Taiwan) during the last 24 hours, this all means, he says, that the area to the south where the Philippines is located has to show "compensation" movement that involves larger earthquakes.
"I haven't seen any large earthquake striking the Philippines... well, over a couple of months now we haven't seen anything large striking the Philippines. We need to be on watch in Philippines. This is definite over the next seven days because all the areas have shown movement.. the area south (of Japan) is completely silent which means pressure has built. From Vietnam, east in the Philippines, somewhere right in here... (pointing with cursor)... again that narrows it down. There are many areas to watch, but the areas which we should see large shallow movements are pretty small." (from 5:50 - 6:42 of the dutchsinse video)
Meanwhile, USGS and EMSC have recorded a 4.5M on April 30, 2015 at 16:49:37 (UTC) in Pondaguitan, Philippines. This appears to differ significantly with Phivolcs 3.5M record of the same earthquake as follows:
