Now the FIBA Asia U18 Championship will take place in Tehran, Iran on July 22-31, 2016. Proud Marinduqueno, AJ Madrigal will still be joining the team.
The top three teams in this tournament will then be qualified in the 2017 FIBA Under-19 World Championship.
This will be the second time that Iran will host the tournament after staging the 20th edition eight years ago. It will be held at the Twelve Thousand People Sport Hall, located in the north & south of the main street of the Azadi Sport Complex.
Marinduque fans of Batang Gilas are following the event as the road to success of the youthful team gets even more tough.
