Its subsidiary Cebgo will operate the route which will be available to air travelers every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
The flights to the island province, which will take about just an hour compared to the eight hours of travel by land and ferry, will depart from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 in Manila.
"We are excited to begin operations in one of the most beautiful islands in the Philippines—Marinduque... Regular flights will allow business to prosper and the island’s tourism sector to boom," said Alexander Lao, president and CEO of Cebgo.
Marinduque is known for its "Moriones Festival" which is held annually during the Holy Week.
The island province's white sand beaches are also a tourist draw during the summer.
