Weekly presentations, then daily
activities as Holy Week approaches.
This will be undertaken with various
cultural groups, with spirituality, Lent and renewal as underlying themes.
For Holy Week, Passion Plays, realistic
theater, not mimed/taped dialogues will be presented in cooperation with
cultural agencies.
May to December 2020, then January to
February 21, 2021 (the conclusion of Centennial Year will focus on the 6 towns’
festivities, commemorative events (such as local battles), etc.
FOR CONSIDERATION:
1.
HOSTING OF THE “MIMAROPA FESTIVAL” THAT USUALLY TAKES PLACE IN
NOVEMBER
(Note: Marinduque is the only remaining MIMAROPA province
that has not hosted this event organized by DOT/RDC/PLGUs, a privilege coveted
by the other provinces).
