This is to further encourage LGUs and all other government instrumentalities to mainstream culture, heritage, and values in their development plans.

On February 9 an orientation and workshop on Local Cultural Development Planning will be held for participating LGUs and Local Culture and Arts Councils (LCACs), from MIMAROPA especially tourism and culture and arts officers. As part of the activities, the provinces of Marinduque and Romblon will undertake rapid re-presentations of their local cultural resource inventories based on the earlier submissions, a summary list of which has been featured here.
