Under MGCQ the province of Marinduque is within the
transition phase between GCQ and New Normal, when these temporary measures, are
relaxed. Under the New Normal it becomes less necessary to limit movement and
transportation, the regulation of operating industries, and the presence of
uniformed personnel to enforce community quarantine protocols.
With Marinduque under MGCQ offices, establishments or
individuals providing activities or services are allowed to operate subject to
strict compliance with the appropriate DTI and DOLE guidelines.
All business sectors and establishments, which have been
operating during the GCQ shall be allowed to operate at full capacity while the
following may operate at 50 percent capacity: barbershops, salons, and other
personal care establishments; dine-in
services in food retail establishments such as supermarkets, groceries and food
preparation establishments shall be allowed provided the seating capacity shall
not exceed 50% operational capacity.
Public utility vehicles are allowed to resume operations,
provided they comply with the directive of the Department of Transportation,
and that in all public transports, a strict one meter distance between
passengers shall be observed and plastic or other barriers shall be in place
especially in tricycles, while jeepneys will only be allowed at 50% passenger
capacity.
Private transportation such as company shuttles and personal
vehicles utilized by persons authorized outside their residence are allowed
subject to DOTr guidelines.
The use of bikes and other non-motorized transportation are
strongly encouraged.
All public and private construction projects are allowed
subject to strict compliance with guidelines prescribed by DPWH Department
Order No. 39 for the implementation of infrastructure projects during this health crisis, and E.O.
No. 29-2020 issued by the Provincial Government on Revised Construction Safety
Guidelines for the Implementation of Infrastructure Project During the COVID-19
Pandemic.
Work in government offices shall be at full operational capacity
but government agencies may adopt alternative work arrangements as may be
deemed appropriate per CSC rules and regulations.
The return and entry to the province of Locally Stranded
Individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) are subject to the
guidelines issued by the DILG and the National Incident Command Center.
