the reason why marinduque is not as popular as the other provinces and also its own festivity the MORIONES FESTIVAL its because there is no full support from its local government and the six municipalities they never work as one in this once a year activity in the province...... if you can see who are the tourist in marinduque are its own resident who grow up in the province and stays in manila to continue their studies after they graduated and have their own job they go back to marinduque..... there is no new improvement in the provione, why don't you observed its physical aspect the roads are not tatally concreted, town proper are not so clean, the safety is good but less authority (PNP..... why they love marinduque its because people are so nice and bvery accomodating but the politician are so __________?!....
I do not agree with your comments, Leanne regarding government support of the Moriones Festival. However, I do agree that improvement in the management of tourism in the province is indeed needed. For example, on my back to US last week at the Masiga airport, there were a lot of tourists from Bella Rocca resort waiting for the plane to return to Manila. The waiting room in the airport was sweltering hot and I was sweating like a pig, but not even a an electric fan was available. A small thing like this gives a bad impression on tourism in Marinduque. I also agree that roads from Ihatub to Masiga airport definely need improvement. But as a whole the island management is much better than the previous administration.

You know why Marinduque is not popular beacuse a lot of political affairs example: the Roro or ship going to Lucena vise versa, there should be modernized roro, let them to have a competetive or another option of shipping company so that all tourist has an option.
