LABAN NI BIGGEL now with official hometown support

Last Monday, March 19 the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of Gasan, Marinduque issued and delivered Official Reolutions to various local institutions in the island-province in support of LABAN NI BIGGEL, Biggel's fight for inclusion in Pinoy Big Brother Season 4's BIG FOUR to "consequently emerge as the BIG WINNER". The said resolutions were addressed to the Provincial Government of Marinduque, Barangay Captains, several schools and colleges in Marinduque, namely, Marinduque State College (MSC), Saint Mary's College of Marinduque (SMCM), Educational System Technological Institute (ESTI), Marinduque Midwest College (MMC), Marinduque National High School (MNHS), Cawit National High School, Bangbang National High School, Tapuyan National High School, Tiguion National High School, Bognuyan National High School and Gasan Central School.

The said Resolution was titled "Isang Kapasiyahan na Supurtahan ang LABAN NI BIGGEL upang siya ay makapasok sa BIG FOUR ng Pinoy Big Brother 4 (PBB$) hanggang siya ay tanghaling BIG WINNER ng nasabing sikat na Programa".

Said Resolution stated thus: "sa kasalukuyan ay mayroong isang Gaseno na gumagawa ng katangi-tanging kasaysayan upang ang bayan ng Gasan at ang lalawigan ng Marinduque ay makilala hindi lamang sa buong kapuluan ng Pilipinas kundi pati na sa buong mundo". Biggel's home province has become a byword particularly among the youth watching the program, the resolution added. Biggel, it said, never hesitated to show his real nature, "walang alinlangang ipinakikita ang kanyang naturalisa at ipinadadama ang kultura at tradisyong Gaseno... hindi nahihiya na gamitin ang bukod-tanging wikang kinasanayan tulad ng mga salitang "ngani, baya, mandin atbp" at ang unique na puntong Marinduque..."

The Resolution on motion of councilor Jose Ma. Sore was unanimously seconded and signed by Gasan vice-mayor and presiding officer Servillanno Balitaan, councilors Elisa Jao, Celia Margarita Asuncion, Yudel Sosa, Ederlinda Sadiua, Consuelo Salcedo, Rodolfor Caparros and Sore.

After five months of stay in the country's most famous yellow house, Biggel remains as one of top favorites. He has been listed eight times as one of top Philippine trending topics and twice as worldwide trending topic, consequently drawing interest on the island of Marinduque, that also got listed for the first time as Twitter trending topic.

Various fan groups have been active in the social media for updates on Biggel's activities inside the PBB house, the housemate who has inspired numerous artworks, videos, articles, poems, and non-stop discussions among supporters and critics.
