Flores de Mayo 2012 in Boac

Flores de Mayo is all about devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus. She, whose soul is. for all Catholics, infused with every grace possible. During this whole month of fragrant flowers offered to Inang Maria, they pray and meditate upon her infinite virtues.

The Flores de Mayo tradition commonly known here as Sagalahan simply calls to mind some of those virtues through the many titles (seen below as represented by the beautiful young ladies of the town), that appear to bring devotees closer to her.
