The National Youth Commission (NYC) has requested Cong. Lord
Allan Velasco to inform his constituents in Marinduque who may be interested to
join the Short-Term Invitation Programme under the Exchange Project with
Asia-Oceania and North America Kizuna (Bond) project which is now open.
The Kizuna (Bond) Project aims to promote understanding on
the vigorous recovery efforts of the Japanese government through youth
exchanges, as well as to provide participating country with information of the
current state of the disaster areas hit by the great East Japan Earthquake
which occurred in March 2011.
The NYC is jointly implementing this program with the Japan
Information and Culture Center (JICC) of the Japanese Embassy and the Japan
International Cooperation Center (JICE). Two hundred (200) young Filipinos 18 –
24 years old will be sent to Japan to represent the country in this event.

for submission of application requirements is September 28, 2012.
