Typhoon Nina Nightmare sa Marinduque

May kasabihan ngani na 'ang isang larawan ay katumbas ng isang libong salita', (a picture is worth a thousand words). Sa loob ng nakaraang tatlong araw, hindi mapigilang kunan ng mga larawan ng mga local netizens ang ginawang bangungot ng Bagyong NinaPH sa islang-lalawigan ng Marinduque. 

May anim na bayan lamang ang maliit na Marinduque (959.2 sq. kms) at ang populasyon nito ay 234,521 (2015 census). Ni hindi halos binabanggit sa balita, at paiyakan pa raw pag-ukulan lamang ng pansin.

Rumagasa ng alas-kuwatro ng madaling araw ang malupit na bagyo at ang mga residenteng nagpuyat kapaskuhan para magbantay, magdasal at maghanap ng ligtas na lugar na kakabakaba. Naapektuhan silang lahat.

Salamat sa mga nagbahagi sa Facebook ng mga larawan ng kinasapitan ng Marinduque sa ginawang pagwasak ni Nina. Nakaukit na sa isipan ng mga nakasaksi ang lahat ng ito, at ang mga larawang magiging bahagi na rin ng kasaysayan - ng bagyong natala bilang pinakamalakas na tumama sa Araw ng Pasko saan man sa mundo. 

Humihingi na ng saklolo ang mga naapektuhang residente na marami ang nawalan ng tirahan at hanapbuhay sa pagtatanim, pagsasaka at pangingisda.

Buo naman ang loob ng lahat na sila ay makakabangon pa rin at tuloy-tuloy lamang ang pamumuhay.
