Tropical Depression outside PAR now weakening?

Yung hitsura at lawak naman ng parating na Tropical Depression (Vinta) ay nakakawindang. Kahapon sa press briefing ng Pagasa nabanggit na ang entry nito sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ay Dec 22, Biyernes. 

Pero unang iniulat ng Pagasa na Dec. 19. Sari-sari. Ang mga diyaryo sa Visayas ay Dec. 20 o 21 naman ang inuulat kaya't may mga paghahanda nang nagaganap, lalo na sa Cebu.

Marami na tuloy ang nagdarasal na tumuloy na lang sana pa-Norte ang TD at huwag nang lumihis pa-Pilipinas.

Weakening TD?

Meanwhile, GMA News reports that at 5:00 AM today, the Tropical Depression outside PAR to be named Vinta has weakened into a Low Pressure Area and was estimated based on all available data at 1,630 km East of Mindanao (6.8°N, 141.0°E). However, the public and DRRM offices are advised to continue monitoring for updates regarding this weather disturbance.

 "The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions," it added.

‘Vinta’ may take Urduja’s path —PAGASA forecaster

The cyclone entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility may follow Tropical Storm Urduja's track, a PAGASA weather forecaster said Sunday morning. 

PAGASA's Aldzcar Aurelio that the cyclone is forecast to enter the PAR by Tuesday or Wednesday, and may take Urduja's westward path.

"Posible pong tatahakin ng paparating na bagyo ang daan ni Urduja. Usually sa ganitong mga buwan, Visayas at Mindanao ang dinadaanan ng mga bagyo... dahil sa malamig na hanging Amihan," Aurelio said.
