SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 pm today, The eye of Typhoon"Nina" was located based on all available data including Virac doppler radar at 65km East Southeast of Virac, Catanduanes (13.4N, 124.8E) with maximum sustained winds of up to 185 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 255 kph. It is forecast to move West at 15 kph.

Rains with gusty winds is expected over Metro Manila, Central Luzon and the provinces of Aklan, Capiz, Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Bantayan Island and Occidental Mindoro including Lubang island.Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms is expected over the rest of Country.
